For this painting demonstration, I will show you how to do a more loose watercolor painting using brush, drip, blowing, and splatter techniques combined. To achieve the look of this painting, you will need to tape your watercolor paper down onto a vertical surface so that the paint will run down the paper.

Supplies:

Watercolors – cadmium red, cadmium yellow, phthalo green, phthalo blue, Indian red (or burnt sienna)

Masking tape

Watercolor paper 140 lb. or thicker

Watercolor brushes – small round and medium round
